May’s edit is out, although for the first time this year – its late!
We do have a pretty good reason though – we were bitch-slapped around by HD.
BUT, Sam pulled it out the bag once again and put this fine edit together. Featuring the one and only Hayling Skatepark along with Henfield, Uckfield and some other places. All the usual culprets for skating

Having recorded everything this month in HD, Sam at PhinFilms and myself are pretty angry to find that neither of our otherwise competent editing suits can handle the shere size of HD!
Sam booked himself into the Herbal editing suit for yesterday, ready to keep the masses happy this month by editing the rough-cut 40 minutes of usable footage, and found even my MAC was struggling. So we have admitted defeat to HD, for now at least, until we can take on the shere size and power of it!
Luckily, we can still use this months footage and Sam will be working on the edit right now, ready for you gasp at in the next couple of days.

Bank Holiday Monday Mission

We all decided to put the Bank-holiday Monday to good use by hitting 3 parks east of us. Accompanied by Harvey, Sam, Shep, Murray, Milly, Jasper, Ad and Herbal-slacker-Charles; we started at Henfield.
Such a good use of very little space, Henfield is smaller than our local and quite clearly a lot better thought out!

We were then chaced away from Henfield by the rain so moved onto Uckfield. There we found a lush park with a really unique layout. Banks, boxes, dirt gaps, hips, manual pads and huge ego’s (ehem…). Pretty crowded, but we got a little footage a couple of snaps before, yet again, the rain had it’s cruel way with us!

Lastly we made our way onto our final park, Cuckfield.. yeah, thats right; Cuck-field…
A Sweet key-shaped bowl with a couple of unique features. Great fun for the last hit of the day!
Murray laid down this banger nice and early, Tre-flip fakie.
Ad going for the SP cover again, hitting the corners hard, FS.
All in all a sick day a great fun had by all – roll on the May edit in HD! Stay tuned…

The First ‘Official’ PhinFilms/Herbal Skateboards colab. Epic on all proportions
I wasn’t sure that Sam would pull this one out the bag this month as it got to about the 20th and he had less that 2 minutes of footage..
But then chuck in a Herbal outing to Dorchester, some creative kicker usage and Hayling’s finest pulling together for one ‘last push’; you get one hell of an edit!
Big props to Mr. Way as always and all the boys for this one. Hate to say it, but I think thats going to be hard to beat!

Dorchester skatepark is easily one of my favourite parks iv’e ever been to… The concrete is perfect, the transitions amazing and the lines endless!
6 of us headed up there early on Sunday, sacraficing our Sunday morning lie-in for a mad shred in the sunshine.
So burly tricks went down, some slams and some of the worst flat-spots ever! (good job, Milly)
